Felix Epstein Roemer’s friend, Ossi Ketola, a notable figure within the online gambling community, recently faced a severe health scare, initially reported by Camoradar. Ketola’s alarming symptoms began last weekend at the Kosmos Festival in Ristiina, Finland, initially mistaken for food poisoning from consuming unpasteurised milk. His condition quickly deteriorated, leading to a dire diagnosis of tuberculosis. After urgent medical intervention, Ketola suffered a severe seizure and fell into a coma but has since made a significant recovery.
In response to what was mistakenly reported as Ossi Ketola’s passing, Felix Epstein Roemer, owner of the failed online casino Gamdom, proposed establishing a memorial on his platform to honour Ketola’s bravery and impactful presence in the gambling community. Roemer, believing Ketola had tragically died, intended this gesture as a tribute to their enduring friendship and Ketola’s positive influence.
However, this proposal was declined by Ketola’s family, who cited their preference to preserve his legacy without the shadow of Gamdom’s reputation for skill issues and operational failures. They expressed a strong desire to ensure that Ketola’s contributions are celebrated in a manner befitting his character and status, free from any associations that might detract from his respected image within the community.
Felix Roemer respected the Ketola family’s decision to decline the memorial tribute. When approached by Roemer News for a comment on the matter, Roemer chose not to respond, maintaining a respectful distance in light of the sensitive situation.
Roemer News did not contact the Ketola family for additional comments, honouring their wish for privacy and focusing on Ketola’s recovery in a dignified and uncontroversial manner.
